URGENT REQUEST – CBA IS APPLYING FOR GRANT MONEY TO HELP MEMBERS REPLACE OLDER VEHICLES AND PURCHASE DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTERS – YOU MUST RESPOND BY WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2009 – 5:00 PM
The California Bus Association has an opportunity to apply for stimulus grant monies.
The funds can be used for the following:
- To cover up to 25% or 50% of the cost of a replacement school bus, depending on the engine emission certification and 25% of the cost of a new motor coach. The vehicle/equipment being replaced must be scrapped or rendered permanently disabled or returned to the original engine manufacturer for remanufacturing to a certified cleaner emission standard.
- To cover up to 100% of the cost (labor and equipment) for an exhaust control that is verified by EPA or the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2009.
ONLY THOSE MEMBERS WHO RESPOND BY THE DEADLINE WILL BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.
THIS IS A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS AND IS ONLY OPEN TO CBA MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING.
