Based on some bad behavior from some of the local open top operators in San Francisco, the SF Board of Supervisors passed a new NO TOUR BUS zone near the Fisherman’s Wharf area of San Francisco. Click here for a map of the affected area. This is a popular area for bus drivers traveling to/ from Downtown to Fisherman’s Wharf. The only alternative now is to use Columbus Ave.
The area is marked off with San Francisco’s famous “No Tour Buses” signs (no commercial vehicles greater than 8 passengers). Any bus observed in this area will likely be photographed and turned into the local MTA for citations.
