What ever type of DPF that is installed, we have seen that the way a driver operates the bus will definitely impact the operation of the DPF. If you have drivers that are easy on a motor coach by down shifting, easy take offs, braking and no long idle times we don’t see to many problems.If you have a driver that does the opposite, you will have nothing but problems with the DPF.
