ADA Regulation

“CBA members: do you believe you are in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act? Do you operate only charters? Maybe some regular route service? Do you know that the regulations are different for each? Take a minute and review the presentation made by Vic Parra, CEO of United Motorcoach Association during the 38th Annual CBA Convention and Trade Show.

While the requirements for providing lift equipped coaches for ‘On Demand (charter) remain the same with the 48 hour notice requirement, there are annual reporting requirements, scheduled/ regular route service would require your ‘fleets’ for this service will likely require 100% ADA compliance. Review the UMA presentation and contact CBA with any questions.”
