Operator Registration

Since the implementation of FMVSS 227, OEM emergency exit systems have seen many changes. This session will bring technicians up to speed on how these systems operate, along with practical guidance on their service and maintenance.

ABA's Cancellation Policy:

  • In the event that Marketplace is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of ABA, such as Acts of God, war, acts of terrorism, government regulations or orders, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, or pandemics, to the extent that it makes it illegal, impossible or impracticable for ABA to provide the Marketplace event, ABA reserves the right to offer a full or partial refund of funds paid, depending on the circumstances of the cancellation, or to apply the funds paid to a future Marketplace event.
  • Cancellation requests must be written and a cancellation verification via email will be sent which must be responded to via email by a company representative.  When the cancellation verification is received by ABA the registration will be cancelled, and a cancellation confirmation will be sent to the delegate. Appointments, the My Event Passport and Marketplace services, are no longer available to cancelled delegates.
  • No refunds will be given for onsite cancellations, late arrivals, unused services, unattended events, or early departure.  It is your responsibility to submit your cancellation request early enough so that it is received in the ABA office by the following dates.

ABA's Refund Policy:

  • Cancellation between May 13 – September 5, 2025 | No Cancellation Fee
  • Cancellation September 6, 2025 – December 1, 2025 | A 50% refund will be granted.  If registration fee has not been paid, the company will be responsible for the 50% payment.
  • No refunds will be granted after December 1, 2025.  If registration fee has not been paid, the company will be responsible for 100% of payment.

Waiver of Liability:
By registering for the California Bus Association’s (“CBA”) 2026 Maintenance Seminar, partnership with ABA's BISC and BusMARC, Registrant hereby irrevocably releases CBA, its staff, directors, presenters, employees, hosts, and any other individuals or entities associated with CBA, from any and all liability related to, or arising from, Registrant’s attendance and participation in the Convention, the information provide therein, changes to its schedule, and hospitality services (e.g. lodging, food and transportation) incidental to the Convention, including, but not be limited to, any and claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, death, costs, expenses, and charges. Registrant voluntarily and knowingly assumes all risks related to, or arising from, the Convention.
